More about the class: Forget everything you know about sewing and patterns—we’re sculpting with wool! Join us for a hands-on session where we transform soft, colorful roving into a beautiful, seamless purse using nothing but soap, water, and a little bit of friction.
We’ll be using balloons as our secret "resists," wrapping them in layers of wool to create unique, rounded shapes that are impossible to achieve with traditional stitching. It’s a tactile, rhythmic, and slightly messy process that feels like magic as the fibers tighten and shrink into a sturdy textile. The best part? The grand finale involves popping the balloon to reveal your perfectly hollow, one-of-a-kind vessel. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or have never touched wool in your life, you’ll walk away with a finished handmade bag and a new obsession.
