Young sculptors dive into the colorful world of clay as they design, shape, and build their very own customized garden gnome from scratch. Guided step-by-step through essential sculpting techniques, students learn how to build sturdy forms, add playful textures, attach fun details, and give their unique gnome its own distinct personality.
This class is all about celebrating process, embracing messy problem-solving, and building artistic confidence in a high-energy, encouraging space. After sculpting their whimsical creations, young artists apply custom glazes before their pieces are kiln-fired into durable, weather-ready ceramic art. Every student walks away with a magnificent, one-of-a-kind gnome ready to guard the garden or brighten up a room at home!
