Ceramics Open Studio - Tuesdays, JANUARY

4 Tuesdays, January 6 - 27, 9am-2pm

Schedule note: You can register for up to 5 hours of weekly studio time in five 1-hour slots - 9-10am, 10-11am, 11am-12pm, 12-1pm, 1-2pm.

Need extra time to bring your ceramic projects to life? Our Ceramics Open Studio provides currently enrolled students with dedicated time to focus on their work outside of regular class hours. This is the perfect opportunity to catch up on missed class work, refine existing pieces, practice skills, and spend focused time in the studio environment.

Students not currently enrolled but with prior ceramics experience may register for studio hours, subject to prior approval from the Director of Education. Please contact us using the form below to confirm your eligibility and register for open studio hours.

Only materials (clay, slips, glazes) provided by the studio/program can be utilized for all projects. Use of any external or personal materials is prohibited unless prior written approval is obtained from the Director of Education.

Students may purchase an additional bag of studio-approved clay ($50) for personal projects. This fee covers the clay and the associated finishing and firing costs.

Skill level: Intermediate/Advanced

TO REGISTER: GHIA staff must be contacted prior to registration to verify prior experience. Use the form below to send an email to Education Director Terry Wilber. She can also be contacted at twilber@ghia.org

Member Tuition: $80 to $400

Non-member Tuition: $95 to $475

Tuition note: Pricing covers all 4 weeks of studio time, slips, glazes, and kiln firing. You can add the cost of an additional bag of clay ($50) to the registration cost.

Can’t make it to a weekday class? We will be considering opening up a Sunday open studio time if a minimum number of students are interested. Please contact us via our regular contact form to let us know if you would register for this option> CONTACT
