Skill Level: All Skill Levels, ages 18 and up

Instructor: Ann-Marie Hutton

SUPPLIES: All supplies are included in the tuition

More about the class:

Elevate your home decor and unwind from the workweek with a hands-on, creative evening at the studio! In this relaxed workshop, you’ll learn the art of hand-building to sculpt a beautiful, functional ceramic wall shelf perfect for displaying tiny air plants, crystals, or your favorite trinkets.

Using sturdy slab-building and scoring techniques, our instructor will guide you step-by-step to ensure your shelf is structurally sound, perfectly balanced, and ready to hang. You'll have total freedom to customize the shape and style, whether you want to craft a sleek modern arch, a whimsical half-moon, or add textured details and carved patterns to the clay. It’s a wonderful way to spend a Friday night creating a truly unique statement piece for your walls.

Once your shelf is built and you've selected a glaze from our studio selection, you get to leave the finishing to us. We will carefully dry, fire, and glaze your piece so it is durable and ready to mount. In just a few weeks, it will be ready to pick up, hang up, and style. Spaces fill up fast, so grab a friend or come solo to meet fellow makers, and reserve your spot today!

🗓️ Pick-Up Info: Your masterpieces will be ready for pickup 3 weeks from the class date. Please call or email the studio to schedule your pickup time. (If the kiln gods smile upon us and they are ready early, we will shoot you a notification email!)
