Gretchen Hash-Heffner
DRAWING AND YOUTH ARTS
Gretchen Hash-Heffner is an accomplished artist and educator with over three decades of experience spanning the classroom, the gallery, and the design studio. A graduate of Kutztown University (B.S. in Art Education) and the Pennsylvania School of Art & Design, she blends a rigorous technical background in Advertising & Design with a lifelong passion for fine art.
“I love sharing my knowledge and get so much enjoyment watching my students succeed.”
Since 2014, Gretchen Hash-Heffner has served as a Teaching Artist at Aiken Art Haus, where they specialize in multi-medium instruction tailored to individual student goals. Having taught in settings ranging from inner-city elementary schools to plein air workshops across the Pennsylvania countryside, she possesses a unique ability to guide artists through every stage of the creative process. Known affectionately by students as "The Closer," Gretchen excels at helping artists navigate the "final mile" of a piece, providing the critical eye and technical support needed to move a work from the easel to the exhibition.
