Tactic III
TACTIC III is the third iteration of a three-part traveling exhibition which highlights the work of 24 artists. Each represent a growing shift in material sensibility in the field of contemporary ceramics. This shift is evident through the use of 3D ceramic printing, the integration of mixed media and post-firing assembly, and the use of technology typically unassociated with the making of ceramic artwork. These non-clay components and unconventional approaches to manipulating clay -compositionally and conceptually- support the ceramic elements and heighten the impact of the work.
