Augusta-based artist Dawn Cardona will be featured in the 3rd floor Creel-Harison Gallery January 10-March 31 at GHIA. Working primarily in paper, Cardona creates intricate works full of exuberance and joyful details.

Also on display will be 3 childrens books that Dawn illustrated in her cut paper medium.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: DAWN CARDONA

Dawn Cardona is a self-taught artist that runs Dearly Dawn Studio in North Augusta, South Carolina. She has illustrated several children’s books and completed other projects such as murals for clients like Visit Augusta. She also periodically teaches at the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art.
