Artist Statement
“As a Korean American Artist working in mixed media, my practice explores the intersections of identity, memory, and social structures. I investigate how personal and cultural histories are shaped by both visual and invisible frameworks, and how these divisions can be confining or progressive. Through layered materials and processes, my work seeks to bridge the space between belonging and distance, capturing the movement of memory and its ability to shape our sense of self. “
