Instructor: Bethany Williams

SUPPLIES: Supplies are included in the tuition of this class. Students will be provided flowers for a medium size arrangement and a vase.

MORE ABOUT THE CLASS: This felt ornament workshop introduces students to the fundamentals of hand-sewn textile art in a fun, approachable, and highly creative environment.

Students will learn step-by-step how to transform simple sheets of felt into charming, three-dimensional ornaments by cutting patterns, stitching pieces together, and thoughtfully assembling their designs with stuffing for structure and softness.

Students will practice essential hand-stitching techniques such as the running stitch and blanket stitch, while also exploring beginner-friendly embroidery to add expressive details like facial features, patterns, and decorative accents.

Projects may include animals for a baby mobile, heartfelt handmade gifts, or personal creations, with a focus on basic stitching, embroidery details, and stuffing techniques to bring each piece to life in 3D.
