CERAMIC MOON JARS WORKSHOP

A crash course in slab and coil construction techniques to make a traditional Korean moon jar form. Students have the option to finish your moon jars with burnishing or glaze. There will be a lunch break from 12:00pm- 1:00pm. Supply fee is included in the tuition and covers 22 ½ pounds of clay, tools, glazes and firing.

Ages 16 and up!

Andrea Clark holds a BFA in Ceramics from the University of Kentucky.  Her work was shown most recently at Marcia Wood Gallery in Atlanta and Latent Space, Chicago. She has completed ceramic residencies at Greenwich House Pottery, Anderson Ranch Arts Center, the Hambidge Center for Creative Arts, and Township10.
