Students will expand their awareness and appreciation of the natural
world as their source of inspiration for creative art-making in this class.
Media will include pencil, watercolor, pastels and tempera paint. All
supplies will be provided.

Beginning and continuing students will develop their skills using a variety
of drawing media to visually interpret different subjects. Pencils, colored
pencils, watercolor crayons, charcoal and pastels will be the creative
tools. Composition in drawings with foreground and background and techniques
for enlarging or diminishing subject matter proportionately will be
emphasized. All supplies will be provided.

This drawing class for the more serious student will continue to focus
on the basic foundation of art with color and value being the featured
elements. Principles of art such as composition, pattern and unity will also
be emphasized. Mediums will include graphite, colored pencils and pen and
ink. New students are welcome. All supplies will be provided.
