Happy Habitat is the theme students will explore this summer as they are introduced to the works of artists such as Henri Rousseau, Remedios Varo and Robert Rauschenberg. Additionally, our young artists will explore imaginary and personal spaces as well as the community environment in their world. These ideas will be interpreted in imagery to create works of art through drawing, painting and sculpture. Instruction will include the use of color, line, shape and form, space and texture as it applies to the three art concentrations offered throughout the summer sessions.

Generously sponsored by the Pollock Company, all Summer Art Camp sessions will meet Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Students may choose to register for any single week, or attend all three sessions for a more comprehensive introduction to the visual arts. All supplies will be provided by the Institute.
