Wildflowers have the glorious habit of arranging themselves in pleasing clumps without the gardener's interference. Using drips and unexpected sources of color combinations for flower heads you can achieve this natural rhythm and create more active compositions. Let our instructor show you how to turn chaos into something beautiful. Using flowers as inspiration but not necessarily what everyone's finished product will be, this experimental class will take you step-by-step through the creation of a mixed-media painting - using texture paste, acrylic paint, and oil pastels. See how to create a painting from start to finish!

Class will go over many topics including building a background, defining shapes, creating a focal point, and adding details. All students will leave with a one of a kind work of art.
